Why you shouldn’t “charge your worth” when pricing your offerings
If you’ve been teaching for any length of time or just being in business, perhaps as a freelancer, you’ve probably heard people say “charge your worth” or charge what you’re worth, your time is worth so much more.
This is always part of a larger conversation about pricing and is something we’ve definitely heard in the yoga space usually between a teacher who is struggling to make a sustainable living teaching yoga and a friend or even a coach trying to be helpful.
The message is that if you’re not charging what you’re worth, you’re not charging enough and dammit, you’re worth more than that.
In this episode, we will be talking about charging your worth and specifically why you shouldn’t charge your worth. This may be the opposite to what you’ve been told so listen to this episode.
