And you definitely have teachings valuable enough to share at a premium price.<\/p>\n<p>Your online yoga course is a way to share and teach what you\u2019ve experienced and had results from.<\/p>\n<p><em>Creating your course positions you as the expert!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>If you know more about something then other people \u2013 <strong>you are already an expert in this area for them!<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Myth 2: The technology is too difficult &amp; intimidating<\/h3>\n<p>The tech only seems overwhelming when you don\u2019t know what it entails. Everything is figure-outable and this is especially true when it comes to technology today.<\/p>\n<h4>There<strong> are so many easy to use tools where you to create, publish and sell your online yoga course.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>You can use platforms that are simple, beginner friendly &#8211; but still very robust and full-featured such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Teachable &#8211; for hosting your course content and managing student data<\/li>\n<li>LeadPages &#8211; to create sales pages and freebie opt-in forms<\/li>\n<li>ConvertKit &#8211; to create email sequences and grow and nurture your email list<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Even if you&#8217;re not a tech person, <strong>there are lots of programs, platforms, and services out there that make putting together a profitable online yoga course super easy.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s no longer necessary to piece together various WordPress plugins to try to make a working course platform.<\/p>\n<p>Today there are numerous all-in-one course creation platforms that feature drag-and-drop course building and ready to go payment and email management.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, creating quality video content has never been easier or more affordable.<\/p>\n<h3>Myth 3: People can do yoga on Youtube for free!<\/h3>\n<p>The community that you\u2019ve built <strong>want to learn from you.<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>And there is value in you organising and presenting your content in your unique way.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>There\u2019s also value in your unique voice and teaching style.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>This myth really is just an excuse. And while it&#8217;s true that there is a lot of free yoga information and videos already available, people don&#8217;t really buy online yoga courses just to get facts and tips.<\/p>\n<p>People buy online yoga courses because <strong>they are looking for a guide, someone who can help them cut through the noise and achieve their yoga goals quickly.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Insight, inspiration, and guidance are where you provide value as an online course creator.<\/p>\n<h3>Myth 4: My email list is too small to launch a profitable online yoga course<\/h3>\n<p>Having a strong email list is a great tool for marketing your online yoga course successfully.<\/p>\n<p>However, that doesn&#8217;t mean that you shouldn&#8217;t get started with course creation until you have 10,000, 5000, or even 1000 people on your list.<\/p>\n<p>The truth is that if you have a <strong>small number of high-quality followers who are super invested in your content<\/strong>, you can have success with online courses even with a small following.<\/p>\n<p>Using free content and lead magnets to attract ideal students is the best way to build a list of people of are interested in your course content.<\/p>\n<h4><em>What\u2019s<\/em><strong><em> really key here is understanding the importance of audience building &#8211; showing up consistently for your people &#8211; not hitting a specific list size.<\/em><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>So even if this is all brand new and your list is at 0, it\u2019s totally possible to build an email list of the right people, <strong>build an amazing relationship with them (and FAST) and then create and sell them the RIGHT course.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The RIGHT course being key &#8211; it must be a course that your ideal students really want and need at a price that they can afford.<\/p>\n<h3>Myth 5: Another teacher already launched a similar course<\/h3>\n<p>Do you realise how many people there are in the world who are yet to discover yoga? Or who don\u2019t have a yoga studio or teacher nearby?<\/p>\n<p><strong>There are so many opportunities right now to connect with people who resonate with you and your teachings.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It does not matter in the slightest if another teacher already launched the same type of course that you\u2019d like to create for the same niche.<\/p>\n<p><em>Why?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Because YOU are unique and YOU have a point of view, skills, experience and perspective that those other teachers don&#8217;t. <strong>Your people want to learn FROM YOU.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Some people will resonate more with your way of teaching than others. Others might need to hear the idea several times before they can implement it. And some might like to work with you more than someone else because they will feel like you are \u201cone of them\u201d more than others.<\/p>\n<p>In short, ideas are often not unique. But your execution will make it unique and different.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, you should take it as a sign that there are students out there who are interested in learning about this topic &#8211; so this is actually good news!<\/p>\n<p>You should think about what you can do to <strong>set your course apart by creating additional value<\/strong> or serving your niche in a unique way.<\/p>\n<p>Keep in mind that your ideal students may not even know about the other courses out there.<\/p>\n<p>The market for online learning is huge and there are more and more potential students learning about the beauty of online courses every day.<\/p>\n<p>Many yoga teachers are having huge success creating and selling profitable online yoga courses. You, me, all of the other yoga teachers successfully creating and selling online yoga courses and all of the other course creators in every non-yoga niche out there.<\/p>\n<p>Yes, we all spend parts of our day in different ways but even if you can only set aside 15 minutes each and every day to work on your course \u2013 you\u2019ll be making progress.<\/p>\n<p>After just 1 month those 15 min\/day will add up to 7.5 hours \u2013 and that\u2019s a whole working day!<\/p>\n<p><strong>So you do have time.
